• “I understand that life can feel messy and out of balance at times. We are not meant to struggle alone. I am here to help you chart your course.”

"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we'll ever do" - Brené Brown

Life isn’t always easy. In fact, life can be hard, painful and even traumatic at times. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Trauma and difficult life experiences can create challenges in many areas of life. it’s not uncommon to struggle with managing thoughts and emotions, relationships, and responsibilities. We do our best to lean on past ways of coping to help us through, and sometimes need to acknowledge when more help is needed. Whether you struggle with emotional issues (anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem), addiction, grief and loss, or relationship/family issues, I am here to offer help, support and hope for a better tomorrow.

Hello! I’m a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist.

I wholeheartedly believe that authentic personal growth and healing happens when people feel heard, validated, understood, accepted and supported. This philosophy forms the foundation of my work with my clients. From this place, we can explore and address the thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns that may be getting in the way of you living your most authentic life.

Kelly Appleby Counselling and Psychotherapy is located in London, Ontario. I acknowledge with gratitude that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Wendat, and Lenape peoples who have longstanding relationships to the land, water and region of southwestern Ontario. The local First Nation communities of this area include Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee-Delaware Nation. Additionally, there is a growing urban Indigenous population who make the City of London home. I deeply value the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations of Turtle Island (North America).
